Deposit Terms

Buyer acknowledges that the deposit terms provided by PawsKennel apply to the selected pet. The deposit is intended to reserve the selected pet or an agreed place in the reservation process. Buyer understands that availability and reservation arrangements may vary depending on the pet and circumstances. All payments under this Agreement shall be made in dollars and paid to PawsKennel.

Buyer Acknowledgements

Buyer acknowledges and agrees that pet availability, litter or birth schedules, and individual pet characteristics may vary. A reservation or deposit does not guarantee that a particular pet, gender, color, size, coat, temperament, or other preference will be available unless specifically confirmed in writing by PawsKennel. Buyer understands that each pet is an individual and may develop differently as it matures.

Final Purchase Price

PawsKennel and Buyer agree that the deposit, when applicable, shall be applied toward the final purchase price of the selected pet. The remaining balance shall become due before the pet is released or ownership is transferred from PawsKennel to Buyer. The total purchase price for the pet is stated above. The purchase price does not include any additional transportation, delivery, or travel-related charges unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Governing Law

This Agreement, and all matters arising out of or relating to this Agreement, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of the jurisdiction agreed upon by PawsKennel and Buyer, without regard to conflicts of law provisions.

PawsKennel Agrees:

To the best of PawsKennel's knowledge, the pet is represented honestly and accurately at the time of sale based on the information available to PawsKennel. Buyer is encouraged to have the pet examined by a licensed veterinarian after receiving the pet. Any veterinary examination, treatment, medication, or other veterinary expense after transfer of the pet is the responsibility of the Buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Health Information

Buyer understands that no pet can be guaranteed to remain free from every possible health condition throughout its lifetime. PawsKennel will provide the health information and records available for the pet at the time of transfer. Buyer understands that hereditary, congenital, developmental, environmental, or other health conditions may occur and that individual pets can develop differently as they mature.

PawsKennel Does NOT Guarantee

PawsKennel does not guarantee a specific adult size, weight, color development, coat development, temperament, breeding ability, show potential, or future health condition unless specifically stated in a separate written agreement. Buyer understands that certain characteristics can change as a pet grows and develops. By selecting this statement, Buyer confirms that they have read and understand what PawsKennel does and does not guarantee.

PawsKennel States:

PawsKennel will provide the available health and care information for the selected pet, including applicable vaccination, deworming, veterinary, feeding, and other care records that are available at the time of transfer. Buyer should review all records carefully and follow appropriate veterinary recommendations after bringing the pet home.

Deposits: *

Any deposit amount and applicable deposit terms will be confirmed between PawsKennel and Buyer. A deposit may be used to reserve one selected pet or one agreed reservation position. Buyer understands that the deposit terms may vary depending on the pet, availability, and individual purchase arrangement.

Pet Value: *

The value of the pet for purposes of any applicable purchase or health agreement is limited to the purchase price of the pet and does not include taxes, transportation, shipping, travel expenses, health certificates, veterinary costs, carriers, crates, supplies, or any additional costs or expenses incurred by the Buyer.

Once the pet is transferred to the Buyer, the Buyer is responsible for providing appropriate care, nutrition, housing, exercise, grooming, veterinary care, and a safe environment. PawsKennel has no control over the pet's environment or lifestyle after transfer.

Health & Care: Your Obligations

Buyer agrees to provide appropriate veterinary care, proper nutrition, fresh water, suitable housing, safe surroundings, regular monitoring, and appropriate care for the selected pet. Buyer understands that failure to provide appropriate care may negatively affect the pet's health and wellbeing.

Photo Rights: *

We love receiving pictures and testimonials of pets from their new families. If Buyer voluntarily sends pictures or testimonials to PawsKennel, Buyer authorizes PawsKennel to use those submitted materials on its website and social media outlets for promotional and informational purposes.

No Monetary Returns: *

Except where otherwise required by applicable law or expressly agreed to in writing by PawsKennel, PawsKennel does not accept returns of a pet for a monetary refund due to personal circumstances, allergies, housing or landlord restrictions, lifestyle changes, adjustment difficulties, or other reasons arising after purchase. If Buyer can no longer keep the pet, Buyer agrees to contact PawsKennel before rehoming the pet so that appropriate options can be discussed.

Pet Surrender: *

PawsKennel retains the first opportunity to discuss the return or rehoming of a pet originally obtained from PawsKennel if Buyer can no longer keep the pet. Buyer agrees to contact PawsKennel before surrendering, selling, transferring, or rehoming the pet whenever reasonably possible. PawsKennel will work with the Buyer to discuss responsible options that prioritize the welfare and safety of the pet.

Cancellation by Buyer: *

Buyer may request cancellation of the purchase by notifying PawsKennel. Any applicable deposit or cancellation terms will be determined according to the agreement provided to the Buyer at the time of reservation and applicable law.

Transportation & Shipping: *

When transportation or shipping is arranged, the timing and method will depend on the pet's age, health, readiness, weather, transportation availability, destination requirements, and other applicable circumstances. Transportation dates may change due to weather, temperature restrictions, logistics, airline or carrier requirements, mechanical problems, health considerations, or other unforeseen events. Buyer is responsible for applicable transportation-related costs and for providing any information or documentation required for the pet's destination.

Buyer Acknowledgements: *

Buyer agrees to provide proper care, nutrition, fresh water, appropriate exercise, grooming when applicable, a safe living environment, and regular veterinary care for the pet. Buyer understands that owning a pet is a long-term responsibility and that the Buyer is responsible for veterinary expenses and other costs associated with the pet after transfer. Buyer understands that temperament and behavior can be influenced by genetics, environment, training, socialization, nutrition, and ongoing care.

PawsKennel reserves the right to decline or cancel a sale when necessary to protect the welfare of the pet or when the purchase arrangement cannot reasonably be completed. Buyer agrees not to knowingly sell, transfer, abandon, or surrender the pet to a pet store, commercial breeding operation, or animal shelter without first contacting PawsKennel whenever reasonably possible.
