At PawsKennel, the health, safety, comfort, and well-being of our puppies are our highest priorities. For this reason, we have a structured reservation and visitation process that must be followed by every prospective family.

OUR RESERVATION & VISIT POLICY

We offer two ways to proceed with a puppy reservation:

OPTION 1 — RESERVATION FIRST

Down Payment/Reservation Deposit → Puppy Reserved → Visit/Pickup Scheduled

Once the required reservation deposit has been received, the selected puppy is placed on hold and removed from active availability to other families.

After the deposit has been received and the required reservation information has been completed, we will work with you to schedule a convenient date for your visit and/or pickup.

The reservation deposit is considered part of the puppy’s total purchase price and is not an additional fee.

OPTION 2 — VISIT COMMITMENT DEPOSIT

Visit Deposit → Appointment Scheduled → Deposit Applied/Refunded According to the Reservation Terms

For families who would like to meet a puppy before making a final decision, a visit commitment deposit may be required. This allows us to schedule a specific appointment and properly prepare for your visit.

The applicable deposit is handled according to our reservation and refund terms and may be applied toward the puppy’s purchase price when you proceed with the adoption.

IMPORTANT: DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED BEFORE A VISIT

No visit will be scheduled until the required deposit has been received.

We understand that some families may prefer to visit first, and we respect that. However, we do not permit unscheduled or casual visits to our kennel without the required deposit and appointment.

This policy is not intended to make the process difficult. It exists primarily to protect the puppies and maintain a safe and controlled environment.

Our puppies are young and developing, and unnecessary foot traffic, unfamiliar visitors, noise, and repeated handling can create stress and increase the risk of exposure to illness. We therefore take extra precautions to maintain a clean, controlled, and carefully managed environment.

A scheduled visitation system also allows our team to properly prepare the puppies, maintain appropriate sanitation procedures, coordinate staff, and give each family the attention they deserve.

Most importantly, the health and well-being of our puppies come before convenience.

We believe responsible breeding involves protecting the animals in our care, not allowing unrestricted access to the kennel. Every visit must therefore be planned and scheduled in advance.

HOW TO PROCEED WITH A RESERVATION

The process is simple:

Step 1 — Select Your Puppy
Let us know which puppy you are interested in and any questions you may have.

Step 2 — Confirm the Reservation Details
We will confirm the puppy’s availability, purchase price, required deposit, and the terms applicable to your reservation.

Step 3 — Submit the Required Deposit
Once you are comfortable proceeding, the required reservation/down payment deposit is submitted.

Step 4 — Complete the Reservation Agreement
After payment is received, complete the required reservation/deposit agreement and provide the information requested.

Step 5 — Puppy Is Reserved
Once the payment and required information have been received, the puppy will be marked as reserved for your family according to the applicable reservation terms.

Step 6 — Schedule Your Visit/Pickup
We will then work with you to arrange a scheduled visit and/or pickup date that is convenient for you.

Step 7 — Finalize the Purchase
The remaining balance and required paperwork will be completed according to the agreed terms before the puppy is released to your family.

WHY WE FOLLOW THIS PROCESS

We take our responsibility to our puppies very seriously. Our kennel is not an open-access facility where visitors can come and go without an appointment.

We believe that a controlled visitation policy helps us:

* Protect puppies from unnecessary exposure to illness
* Reduce stress caused by excessive handling and unfamiliar visitors
* Maintain proper sanitation and biosecurity
* Give reserved puppies a calm environment
* Prevent casual or non-serious visits
* Properly prepare our staff and facility for every appointment
* Give serious families a dedicated and organized experience

We appreciate your understanding that our puppies’ health and welfare must always come first.

If you are ready to move forward, simply let us know which puppy you would like to reserve. We will provide the applicable deposit details and guide you through each step of the reservation process.

Thank you for choosing PawsKennel. We look forward to helping you find the right puppy for your family.
